Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Duties and Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and licensed vocational nurses
(LVNs) provide basic nursing care. They work under the direction of registered
nurses and doctors.
Salary: $41,540 per year
Education: LPNs must complete an approved educational program. These programs
award a certificate or diploma and typically take about 1 year to complete.
They are commonly found in technical schools and community colleges.
Reflection: I think I would like to become an LPN because they do some
interesting things. They also don’t take long to become one.
