"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating"
Sophocles

 Image result for Sophocles

Reflection: Sophocles is a smart man for saying this quote. He is correct because for example when the football team that cheated by taking out air from footballs they won but not fairly. They should’ve been brave enough to just take the loss rather than winning knowing that they didn’t do what was right.
“Memorial Day”
1. What is Memorial Day? A day on which those who died in active military service are remembered
2. When is it? Traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.

3. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials and American volunteers place a flag on each graveImage result for memorial day

Wilford Woodruff

Reflection: I agree with Wilford Woodruff. He is extremely correct because if you do the opposite you will gain everything that you want. But if you do what’s wrong you will completely gain nothing.

“The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem”
Dr.Laura Schlessinger

Reflection: I agree with Dr.Laura because she is correct on what she is saying. For example if you find a phone or something a reward or something. But it is better off if you just give up the phone back to the owner because you'll feel like you did what was right. You will also feel self-respect and dignity.

“When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive”
Alan Paton

Reflection: I agree with Alan sometimes it is best to forgive the person who did something wrong. It can help you a lot even though it is very hard to forgive someone for doing something that harmed you.
Forgiveness
Erick Smallridge was an elder man who was sent to jail for approximately 22 years. He killed to girls named Megan and Lisa. Megan’s mother was obviously not happy about what happened but she did one thing .Forgive! She did one thing that no one would ever do. Erick was forgiven for what he was accused of. Erick and Renee are not going around schools telling children at school why drinking is bad and what it can lead to

"Dare to stand alone"
Thomas S. Monson

Reflection: I agree with Thomas Monson. For example, if you are good at any sport only one thing can keep you away from becoming better and better. This is why you would rather be alone than with a group of members who are doing wrong things you know can be affecting you.
