Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) provide basic nursing care. They work under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.

Salary: $41,540 per year

Education: LPNs must complete an approved educational program. These programs award a certificate or diploma and typically take about 1 year to complete. They are commonly found in technical schools and community colleges.

Reflection: I think I would like to become an LPN because they do some interesting things. They also don’t take long to become one.

Home Health Aide

Duties and Responsibilities: Home health aides help people who are disabled, chronically ill, or cognitively impaired. They often help older adults who need assistance.

Salary: between $16,000 and 29,250$

Education: Although a high school diploma or equivalent is not generally required, most home health aides have one before entering the occupation.

Reflection: Even though it is very easy to become one I wouldn’t like this job because it seems boring. Another reason why I wouldn’t become one is because the salary is very minimum.

Reflection: I agree with Tyler Haws because he is incredibly correct in this statement. Any time that you work so much for something you love you will accomplish it. Kobe Bryant

A professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe is 36 years old who was born on August 23.He is married to Vanessa Bryant and they have 2 daughters together. Kobe has played his entire career with the Lakers and has won 5 NBA championships. Kobe unlike others did not attend college right after high school he was drafted into the NBA. Although he hasn't played much during these past two years he is still one of my favorite players ever. His passion and tenacity for the game of basketball is what makes him my favorite basketball player.He is my idol also because he is helpful to those people who live in "Skid Row".

I think not a lot of positive things are happening in the city of Los Angeles. For example just yesterday very close to our school there was a car pursuit that was a pretty big thing because there were several helicopters in the area. Another thing that has me thinking is why we have to come to school every day. It isn’t a very fun thing to do.
