Environmental Health Specialist
Duties and
responsibility: They use natural
science to protect the environment and human health; they clean up polluted
areas, advise policy makers or work industry to reduce waste. They analyze and
identify and assess threats to the environment. They develop plans to prevent
or fix environmental problems.
Salary: $63,570 per
year
Education: Must have
a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a science related field. Must
also go into training for the teaching and basic research positions
Reflection: Becoming an environmental health specialist seems
like it will be an important job to have. Even though it seems interesting I would
not like becoming one.
